DZOGCHEN WORKSHOP
DZOGCHEN IN THEORY AND PRACTICE
June 12–13, 2026, University of Leipzig, Germany
Dzogchen (Great Perfection), a pinnacle of Tibetan Buddhist contemplative traditions, offers a direct path to recognizing the mind’s innate, non-dual awareness. This series bridges theory and practice through Longchenpa’s unique sevenfold mind training (Prof. Dr. Anne C. Klein), the convergence of mindfulness with Dzogchen insight (Dr. Harvey Aronson), and Guru Yoga’s relational transmission (Dr. Renée Ford). The workshop combines historical perspective with contemplative inquiry. It is open to scholars, students, and all interested in Buddhist philosophy, contemplative traditions, and related fields.

DZOGCHEN RETREATS
GREEN TARA with Empowerment (Wang)
June 14–18, 2026
(English with German translation)
RETREAT LOCATION: Rosenwaldhof, Bergstraße 2, 14550 Groß Kreutz (Havel), OT Götz
Green Tara is a female deity who is deeply revered in Tibetan Buddhism. She is always present when we need her and is accessible to all who call upon her. We practice in order to encounter Tara. She is an expression of awakened energy and of reality itself. She embodies a combination of gentle, nurturing, and compassionate qualities, while at the same time being a great protector. She protects us from whatever we fear. In this way, Green Tara embodies active compassion.
Lama Rigzin will offer teachings on a Green Tara practice from The Luminous Vajra’s Secret Treasure (Ösel Dorje Zang Dzöd), a treasure cycle revealed by the great Dzogchen master Adzom Drukpa (1842–1924) and arranged by Rinpoche. The retreat is open to all practitioners.
BECOMING YESHE TSOGYAL
June 19–22, 2026, Buddhist Center Bodhicharya, Berlin, Germany
(English with German translation)
A continuation and deepening of the teachings from June 2025. This blessed practice is part of Rinpoche’s treasure cycle. We will practice the Sadhana „Becoming Yeshe Tsogyal“. To prepare, a video recording of the June 2025 retreat (Dakini Ngöndro) is available for those who could not attend then but wish to join in 2026.
CHENREZI RETREAT
June 23–28, 2026, Retreat House Ganden Chökhor, Switzerland
(English with German translation)
This is also a continuation of the Chenrezig practice in Ganden, Switzerland, with a focus on the Tsog offering. Lama Rigzin Drölma will also teach the very special and rare „Liberation Through Hearing“ (thos grol) – based on an oral transmission directly from Rinpoche.
SEEING TO BEING
TEACHING: BEYOND ORDINARY MIND – PARTS I & II
June 30th, 2026 and July 1st, 2026, each evening 7-9pm
Centro Di Medicina Integrata (CIMI), via Vincenzo Monti 12, Roma, Italy
(English with Italian translation)
Part I Introducing our Movement from Seeing to Being
Buddhist practices are methods for growing free from entrapment. What traps us? Our ordinary ways of seeing and knowing. The veils of the ordinary are heavy indeed, yet there are simple ways of beginning to see through them. Seeing through them means we begin to unwind the mesh of ordinary perception—reactivity, unrecognized assumptions, habits that don’t work for us. These repetitive cycles are what Buddhists call “samsara”. They are fueled by blurry but powerful generic assumptions. In this context, Lama Rigzin introduces simple, impactful, practices to support greater clarity on how we see and are. This greater granularity encourages awakening to fresh ways of seeing and being.
Part II The Wisdom in Contemplative Psychology
In contemplative psychology, as in Buddhist practice, we move from generalities to particulars in a manner that can be very freeing. Lama Namgyal will introduce the key principles of Gendlin’s focusing and lead a guided practice accessible to everyone. In our own practice and teaching, we have found focusing to be an effective method for gaining access to our own actual experience, thereby growing freer from the ordinary ideas we carry about ourselves. Such habitual ideas can impact us without our even knowing we have them. The process of unveiling them is a yoga. In Tibetan traditions, “yoga” means a method for uniting with what is true in you. This is the process that Lama Namgyal will introduce, with enough details to make it practical.
RETREAT: SEEING TO BEING
July 3–5, 2026, Tuscany, Italy
The Lamas will teach Seeing to Being – a wonderful opportunity to be introduced to Dzogchen or to deepen your own practice.
