A Call to Practice: Tara for Our Teachers
Dear Sangha,
Your help is needed. While we do not have specific information, we know that our friends in that land are facing real hardship. The obstacles are heavy. This is the moment to turn the strength of our practice toward them.
Please help keep the Tara practice and the Tara mantra going. Set aside time each day. For one month, we will hold the intention of removing these obstacles as we accumulate the mantra together, then seal it with a fire puja to send the power where it is needed. Please, dedicate every recitation to removing these obstacles and to the safety of the people and the dharma in that land.
We use two mantras. Continue the heart mantra, OM TARE TAM SVAHA, as before. This month we emphasize Tara's action mantra, OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SVAHA. Focus your accumulations on the action mantra, directed at removing these obstacles, opening the way to freedom for all.
If you have time, please recite the long-life prayers for our teachers three times. Include the protectors, directing their activity to fulfilling their commitments.
Record your mantras here so they join the total:
One person's practice is a ripple. Practiced together, with one intention, day and night, it becomes a real force in these dark times. Tara's light is bright and swift. She answers those who call on her.
We are building a continuous chain of practice across our sanghas, hour by hour, around the clock. If you can hold a time, sign up here:

For those drawn to the wrathful practices, keep Vajrakilaya going alongside. It clears the way for Tara.
May it all be auspicious,
