DZOGCHEN RETREATS
GREEN TARA
June 14–18, 2026 (Start: June 14, 5:00 PM, End: June 18, approx. 1:00 PM)
(English with German translation)
RETREAT LOCATION: Rosenwaldhof, Bergstraße 2, 14550 Groß Kreutz (Havel), OT Götz (https://www.rosenwaldhof.de)
Green Tara is a female deity who is deeply revered in Tibetan Buddhism. She is always present when we need her and is accessible to all who call upon her. We practice in order to encounter Tara. She is an expression of awakened energy and of reality itself. She embodies a combination of gentle, nurturing, and compassionate qualities, while at the same time being a great protector. She protects us from whatever we fear. In this way, Green Tara embodies active compassion.
Lama Rigzin will offer teachings on a Green Tara practice from The Luminous Vajra’s Secret Treasure (Ösel Dorje Zang Dzöd), a treasure cycle revealed by the great Dzogchen master Adzom Drukpa (1842–1924) and arranged by Ad.zom Rinpoche. The retreat is open to all practitioners.

SEEING TO BEING
June 30th, 6-8pm and July 1st, 6-8pm, TBC, Rome, Italy
(English with Italian translation)
BEYOND ORDINARY MIND: PARTS I & II
Part I Introducing our Movement from Seeing to Being.
Buddhist practices are methods for growing free from entrapment. What traps us? Our ordinary ways of seeing and knowing. The veils of the ordinary are heavy indeed, yet there are simple ways of beginning to see through them. Seeing through them means we begin to unwind the mesh of ordinary perception—reactivity, unrecognized assumptions, habits that don’t work for us. These repetitive cycles are what Buddhists call “samsara”. They are fueled by blurry but powerful generic assumptions. In this context, Lama Rigzin introduces simple, impactful, practices to support greater clarity on how we see and are. This greater granularity encourages awakening to fresh ways of seeing and being.
Part II The Wisdom in Contemplative Psychology
In contemplative psychology, as in Buddhist practice, we move from generalities to particulars in a manner that can be very freeing. Lama Namgyal will introduce the key principles of Gendlin’s focusing and lead a guided practice accessible to everyone. In our own practice and teaching, we have found focusing to be an effective method for gaining access to our own actual experience, thereby growing freer from the ordinary ideas we carry about ourselves. Such habitual ideas can impact us without our even knowing we have them. The process of unveiling them is a yoga. In Tibetan traditions, “yoga” means a method for uniting with what is true in you. This is the process that Lama Namgyal will introduce, with enough details to make it practical.
